At a recent social event, I met a respected industry professional, now leading machining operations in an aerospace components organization. One of the first initiatives he undertook after moving into his new role was to reconnect with us at Jergens India and procure the ball Lock shanks, receivers, and liners.
Why? Because he remembered the impact the systems had on productivity elsewhere.
He shared — with visible pride — that the system has been successfully implemented in his current organization, and the reduction in fixture changeover times are both measurable and significant. The “less than a minute” changeover capability translated directly into operational gains.
He was insistent that I visit the facility and see the results firsthand — even though I have since retired from Jergens.
That kind of endorsement speaks louder than any presentation.
Gratifying to see a solution continue to create value in recent times too.
