I am a 1977 Mechanical Engineering graduate from COEP. After a fulfilling career, I retired as Managing Director of Jergens India Pvt Ltd on 31st October 2025, having successfully established the company in 2009 and leading it with maturity with great support from Jergens, Inc ( www.jergensinc.com) , our sales and operational team in India, our distributors and service providers.
With over two decades of experience in setting up and running a subsidiary of a US multinational, and three decades in manufacturing maintenance, I have developed a reasonably good expertise in troubleshooting engineering and business challenges — from products and people to supply chain bottlenecks and strategic decisions.
To stay future‑ready, I enrolled in the Post Graduate Programme in AI for Leaders & Managers at The University of Texas at Austin. This equips us to help businesses harness the power of AI for transformation, combining data‑driven insights with lived experience.
I wish to continue offering my services to the industry as a seasoned retired professional , using my new learning on exploring data , studying patterns and offering recommendations through insights from data and personal experience.
